Colds and flu are common in this time of the year…and if your kid gets it there is a very good chance that you will get it too 😉
That’s the reason why I was in a total comfort food mood….but still healthy. I really wanted a warm creamy something…like…a chowder!!
I haven’t introduced shellfish yet in Luca’s diet (the suggestion is to wait after 2 yrs for potential allergies), so I couldn’t go for the original clam’s chowder, that’s how I ended up with a different kids’ friendly version of it.
no shellfish but halibut (or any nice big white fish good for soups).
The result? delicious. Creamy, tasty, comforting!
Luca (and the rest of the family) really liked it.
