We are a soup family, no doubt. I can serve soup every night and the kids will be happy. Of course not the same one. You can really get creative with soups and play with ingredients and flavors. What stays the same is the comforting and nourishing feeling.

Tonight it's lentil broccoli tomato time. Tons of fiber and protein in every spoon.

Ready in 30 min total. Perfect for babies starting from 10 months of age (simply because both broccoli and lentils have so much fiber that can be a bit too much for a 6 months baby). If your baby is already used to broccoli and lentils, just offer a small quantity, a few teaspoons will be enough.

Last Christmas lunchbox of the year! The tree has an easy steamed broccoli and cream cheese bread. Cream cheese mixed with veggies (broccoli, spinach, beets..) is a lovely way to offer veggies to kids. I also baked some Italian merengue from egg whites leftovers from the shortbread cookies. Stay tuned for the recipe!

Christmas Wreath 2021. If you recognize the ornaments I used, it means you have a boy between the age of 6 and 11 yrs. 😂
Every year since my kids were born I wanted to decorate the family wreath with the toys they have been using the most that year. We went through duplo, lego, cars, construction toys, Pokemon cards (I had to tape them so that they would not ruin outside!!), legos...and this year it's the BeyBlade time.

Lol, when they become teens, do you think I will need to decorate the wreath with cell phones? 😱

Avocado Xmas toast and our favorite pumpkin chocolate walnuts cake for some festive vibes today!

I prepared the lunchbox last night mixing the avocado with lemon and brushing some olive oil on top. It didn’t work. Was nicely brown this am and I did it again. So if you prepare it, do it as close as you can to when you serve it.
