Fava Bean & Kale Baby Food Puree +8M
Ingredients
  • 1 cup fava beans
  • 2 kale leaves
  • 2 Tbsp ricotta
  • 1 small carrot
  • 1 Tbsp pecorino cheese
  • few fresh mint leaves
Instructions
  1. Prepare the vegetables: remove the fava beans from the shell and remove the inner skin too.
  2. Remove the tender kale leaves from the stem
  3. Peel the carrot and chop it in small pieces
  4. Steam the vegetables for 8 minutes
  5. Place the steamed vegetables in a tall container or in a food processor or in a food blender and add the other ingredients: the ricotta, Pecorino cheese, mint leaves
  6. Blend up until smooth and creamy
  7. Serve the puree to your baby warm
  8. or use it as a pasta dressing for your toddler, older kids and the rest of the family
