Always. That creamy, lightly sweet, satisfying flavor that makes you happy before going to sleep like a goodnight story \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t think I ever blogged about it, but I\u2019m lactose sensitive: it\u2019s not an allergy or a medically diagnosed intolerance. It just happens that if I drink too much milk or heavy dairy food (i.e. a nice glass full of whole milk or a burrata) my belly starts blowing like I\u2019m pregnant again&#8230; very pregnant, like 8 months \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>A few weeks ago I was shopping at Trader Joe\u2019s and I noticed a new product: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blogher.com\/clicktracker.php?nid=2474759&amp;cid=2467535&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fgoo.gl%2FUAO6nN\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">a2 Milk\u00ae<\/a>. It is fresh real milk, but easier to digest thanks to the absence of A1 protein.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/EUkxuEedxBc\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The milk produced by ordinary cows contains two kinds of proteins: A1 and A2. Recent studies are showing that A1 protein can be directly linked to dairy digestive discomfort. At a2 Milk\u00ae they found a way to select cows that naturally produce only A2 protein and not A1. That means that a2 Milk\u00ae doesn&#8217;t contain A1 protein, making it easier to digest.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve been drinking a2 Milk\u00ae for the past two weeks and I\u2019ve been very satisfied: no more \u201cpregnant belly\u201d and, finally, only one carton of milk in the refrigerator for both the kids and me \ud83d\ude09 <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-7041\" src=\"https:\/\/www.buonapappa.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/IMG_7409-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"img_7409\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.buonapappa.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/IMG_7409-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.buonapappa.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/IMG_7409-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.buonapappa.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/IMG_7409-1080x720.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s so nice to be able to enjoy the recipes with milk that I prepare for my kids, like this chocolate &amp; banana smoothie, without worrying about annoying \u201cside effects\u201d \ud83d\ude09 <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-7043\" src=\"https:\/\/www.buonapappa.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/IMG_7402-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"img_7402\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.buonapappa.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/IMG_7402-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.buonapappa.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/IMG_7402-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.buonapappa.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/IMG_7402-1080x720.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-7055\" src=\"https:\/\/www.buonapappa.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/choco-banana-smoothie5-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"choco-banana-smoothie5\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.buonapappa.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/choco-banana-smoothie5-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.buonapappa.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/choco-banana-smoothie5-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.buonapappa.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/choco-banana-smoothie5-1080x608.jpg 1080w, https:\/\/www.buonapappa.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/choco-banana-smoothie5.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To make the chocolate banana smoothie\u00a0in less than 10 minutes you will need:<\/p>\n<p>3 medium ripe bananas, sliced and frozen<\/p>\n<p>3\/4 cup a2 Milk\u00ae<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 cup vanilla yogurt<\/p>\n<p>2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder<\/p>\n<p>1 tablespoon honey<\/p>\n<p>Simply place all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth. Garnish with sliced bananas and chocolate chips if desired.
