Sole Fish Cakes

You know that I’m a fish fan. It’s an amazing source of proteins and “good” fats (omega 3, good for the brain development), that’s why I try to give fish to Luca twice or three times a week. I would classify this recipe as “fun”…it’s a fun way to cook fish and kids will love it!

As we are using eggs I would suggest this recipe for babies older than 12 months.

Suggestions:

  1. Instead of pureeing everything you can also smash the ingredients with a fork, the final result will be less creamy and you will taste the different ingredients more clearly.
  2. For mommy and daddy. why not dipping the cakes in a Tartar sauce? mhhh…yummy!!

Enjoy!

Thank you for your recipe. I made this fish cakes just now. I would like to suggest adding 1 egg each time, then blend them to see how thick the puree is. Since the puree I got had too much water in it. I guess 1 or 2 eggs are good enough in my case.
After making 12 fish cakes, I gave up. It looks like I was playing mud:P

Surprisingly, they actually taste really good!! I love it! So I decided to put the rest of the puree into ice cubes and keep them in the fridge. Hope they can be easier to ‘play’ with when they are frozen.
